Manchester Cars is a family company, owned by brothers Bill and Nemo, and they love the city that they serve. With around 250 uniformed drivers, they provide a service to a growing population every day around the clock. Whether it's getting you to work, to home, picking you up from a hotel, a night out at the theatre, or the railway station and Airport Transfers, Manchester Cars provide a safe, reliable journey that you'll enjoy.

From their beginnings in 2002, they have merged with / acquired a number of other city centre private hire taxi operators and have seen considerable growth. With three City Centre offices and their proud roots within Manchesters Gay Village, they now do around 18,000 passenger journeys every week and have happy customers, both business and residential.

In fact, since they introduced the latest GPS taxi dispatch technology in 2007, they've completed over 2 million passenger journeys!


All Manchester Car drivers are self employed and licensed by Manchester City Council, so you know you're in safe hands! The company act as their booking agent with a 24 hour Call Centre based in the heart of the City.
